Join us for Public Meeting No. 2 on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 6:00 pm at the Olive Free Library 4033 Rte 28, West Shokan, NY

The Olive Flood Advisory Committee, working under the direction of the Town of Olive Town Board, invites you to attend the second in a series of public meetings to develop solutions to flooding in the hamlets of Shokan and West Shokan. This Local Flood Analysis is focused on finding beneficial and feasible solutions for you and your neighbors. Engineering firm SLR Consulting, hired by the Town of Olive to assist with the study, will present their initial findings and a range of potential solutions. Local home and business owners will also learn more about how to participate in a free (and beneficial) first-floor elevation survey as part of this study.
