A spirited lecture presented by actor and local historian Frank Marquette.
Between 1920 and 1933, the Hudson Valley was a center for gangland activities, including distilleries and speakeasies. Frank Marquette’s lecture will explore locations such as Dutch Schultz’s bunker, Barmann Brewery, and Friedman’s Hotel, associated with gangster Legs Diamond, as well as the contribution of “whiskey women” in bootlegging.
Your evening will include a local whiskey tasting presented by Hudson House Distillery of West Park, New York.
