Painting Trees in Water Color

Learn some basic watercolor painting techniques and then apply those skills
to painting trees. We will take a close look at images of deciduous and
coniferous trees and explore their overall shapes. Demonstrations will be
given on how to get the feel of foliage, and using brush work to suggest bark
texture. Appropriate for beginners and those with some experience painting.
Some drawing experience helpful, but not required. Materials will be
provided by the library. Preregistration is required and class is limited to 12.
